Mr. Abdul-Moomen Siddique is a Director of Finance and Administration at the Ghana AIDS Commission. He is a Chartered Accountant with 12 years post qualification experience and a total of twenty 17 years’ experience in Public Sector Accounting.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. Mr. Siddique holds a Master of Business Administration Degree in Accounting and Finance which he obtained from the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA), a Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Post Chartered Diploma in Public Financial Management (PFM) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).
He first worked with CAGD as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. He occupied various position such as the Deputy Head of Public Relations Officer, a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist on a World Bank Funded Project; the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS), the Project Accountant for Public Financial Management Reforms Project (PFMRP). He was also the Director of Finance and Administration at the Northern Development Authority (NDA).
Mr. Siddique was a resource person for the Third World Bank Financial Management Workshop organized by Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), was an adjunct lecturer at University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA), and a financial management consultant for USAID.
